• Regrettably, the Shadyvinkenstein Government in Exile does not engage in formal foreign relations with other entities due to its absence of foreign affairs infrastructure and its inherent isolationist disposition. Furthermore, the SVSGIE primarily functions as a cultural organization. Nevertheless, Shadyvinkenstein is open to formalizing a declaration of friendship, which serves as an informal basis for relationships. Does the SVSGIE continue to assert formal territorial claims over Shadyvinkenstein?

• The Shadyvinkensteini Government-in-Exile has relinquished its claim over its former territory. As of 2021, the majority of the territory has been demolished, a stone fence has been erected, the original tree has been felled, and access to the former Kingdom has been severed.

Is Shadyvinkenstein recognized as an independent state?

• In the year 2011, Yes. Shadyvinkenstein was established as a sovereign and independent nation situated within the territorial boundaries of the Netherlands. Nonetheless, despite its claim of sovereignty, it remained unrecognized by both the United Nations and other sovereign entities. Shadyvinkenstein maintained full administrative control over its entire territory at that time.

How Do I Become a Shadyvinkensteiner Citizen?

Obtaining citizenship within Shadyvinkenstein is not possible for most individuals. The micronation was primarily established by Shady Morsi, Timo Vink, Stein Dros, and their associates. What were the origins of Shadyvinkenstein?

Shadyvinkenstein's inception predates its official recognition as a micronation. In 2010, Shady Morsi and Stein Dros stumbled upon an abandoned building near their school. This discovery led to the proclamation of the Republic of Shadystein, initially a small republic with Shady Morsi as its president. Subsequently, the republic evolved into a monarchy upon Timo Vink's involvement and was renamed Shadyvinkenstein, with Shady becoming King following an election, and Timo Vink assuming the role of Prime Minister.
